I’m not lying when I say Claude is my deep work bestie. I run a lot of things by her, and here’s why:

1. I’m a one woman show. I don’t have a colleague sitting next to me that I can get a second opinion from or brainstorm ideas with.

2. Work smarter, not harder. The ol’ saying goes. I have multiple clients, different industries, different work styles. I need to switch between & get my brain into it fast.

3. The brain is still mine. I’m the player, Claude’s the ball. I provide the ingredients, Claude cooks the dinner. You know what I mean 😅 and if I’m not using her in this industry I’ll likely fall behind.

Yeah maybe AI is a little scary at first, but so was every other tool that changed the way we work. For me it’s not about replacing the human, it’s about making the human more effective.

Can we just normalise not having it all figured out?

Because I have never, not once, met a person who actually has their shit together. Not really. You see the fancy dinners and the weekends away and you think okay they’ve cracked it. And then you get to know them and they’re like “I genuinely don’t know how I’m paying myself this week” and you’re standing there like…

Same babe. Same.

We are all just out here figuring it out as we go. Every single one of us.

So if you’re sitting there waiting until things calm down, until you’ve got a clearer picture, until you feel more “ready” — I need you to hear this:

That moment is not coming. And you don’t need it to.

The business owners who seem to have it together aren’t operating from some place of total clarity and control. They’ve just got the right support around them — a great partner, a coach, a mentor, or someone handling the stuff that was swallowing their time whole.

You don’t hire help because you’ve got it together.
You hire help because you don’t. And that is completely, entirely the point.

Hello, Winter 🤎
